If you have not, you can try our KI.TA’s Malaysian Curry Noodles, which every bite brings the authentic taste of the springy wonton noodles together with the hot curry broth that is made with real Asian spices, which makes you taste the strong flavour of curry and the tingling spiciness afterwards. As you know, Malaysian cuisines are famous globally as the food fusions of so many influences from different countries around the globe, resulting from the immigration of non-natives into Malaya during the war era. Because of this matter, the infusion of various cultures is one of the main reasons why Malaysian food fusions happen.
If you visit Malaysia or explore the Malaysian food culture, you will notice that there are so many Indian influences in Malaysian food, such as the thick curry sauces, banana leaf curry, rice, pickled vegetables, and many more dishes. Although the Indians are always known for their thick and strong traditional curry flavours, it is slightly different from the Peranakans curry. The Nyonya or Peranakans curry has its specific ingredients in making this dish, which are lemon grass, lime leaves, galangal, and prawn paste. Hence, this creates the unique tang which represents the Nyonya curry itself.
You can try experiencing the authentic taste of Nyonya curry flavour through our Malaysian Curry Wonton Noodles. Our Master Chef, Bernard Lee was born into the Thai Chinese or Thai Nyonya family. The recipe inspiration for making this dish comes from his family’s home-cooked food itself. Hence, the genuine taste of the real Nyonya curry flavour can be found in our curry mee, and believe us, you might fall in love with the rich flavour, once you taste the authenticness of our Malaysian curry noodles.
To prepare the perfect Nyonya curry noodle, you will need a lot of culinary ingredients like curry paste, dried chillies, garlic, curry leaves, lemon grass, prawn paste, and many more. However, you’ll get to skip all these things by using our instant Malaysian curry noodles. No need to buy fresh ingredients. No need to go through the hard cooking process. We are very particular about the ingredients utilised in making our product lines, including the Malaysian Curry Noodles. We are only using only the high-quality and natural ingredients which have been inspected and scrutinised during the manufacturing process. We choose only high-grade eggs and fully natural wheat in making the wonton noodles. We also strictly forbid any flavouring and colouring to be added to our products, as we want to practice the natural and good diet in societies eating style.
To comply with the United Kingdom’s protections of the consumer’s rights, every food manufacturer is not allowed to include any chicken or other types of meat oil in their food product. Hence, KI.TA, as a responsible Asian food supplier, decided to change the meat oil into pure vegetable oil, which is a healthier option for a condiment.
KI.TA’s Malaysian Curry Noodles come with 170g (5.99oz) of wanton noodles, which is the same size as the portion served in any cafe. The wonton noodles, which are made purely from high-quality eggs, will be dehydrated and weighted first before being packed into the clear airtight plastic sachet by the machine during the manufacturing process. The weighing procedure is done meticulously by the machinery according to the fixed weight (170g / 5.99oz).
In order to meet the standards established by the government, we utilised the most effective technique for processing and producing the finest Malaysian curry mee during the manufacturing process.

This is the initial stage of making the wonton noodle soup with curry flavour. Firstly, the KI.TA's QC (Quality Check) crew will examine each of the ingredients, which came from our storage facility. We will use these chosen ingredients to produce wonton noodles after the ingredients for the inspected curry mee have. We will also examine these ingredients in every aspect including, the raw ingredients' packaging, visual examination (damaged/spoiled), dimension check, and many more.

We will weigh only the goods that passed inspection using an industrial weighing scale. We also calibrated the weighing device beforehand to assure precision and minimise ambiguity during the weighing process. Every wonton noodle ingredient must fall within the specified weight range stipulated by the KI.TA.

After that, we'll proceed to the following step. This is where the ingredients combine to produce the perfect wonton noodle dough. We will utilise the production stand mixer to merge all the needed food ingredients. We opted to use automation rather than physical labour. This is because we want to produce massive amounts of wonton noodles. Therefore, using a mixer machine can ensure that the product is thoroughly blended, speed up the process, and boost production efficiency in a short time.

The dough sheeter machine will collect the amalgamated dough to begin the thinning process. We only apply this process to a certain amount of wanton mee dough at a time because thinning a big amount of dough at once can harm the gluten structure of the dough and degrade the texture of the egg noodles. Therefore, to increase the quality of the noodles, we decided to thin them to 70% of their original thickness. It will also be powdered before preventing the dough from sticking together while being flattened and cut. We will transfer the thinned egg noodle dough to the cutting machine.

Next, cut the dough sheets into the precise size of wanton mee strings once the thinned noodles have arrived at the cutting mechanism. The process of cutting the dough is made much easier and more effective since the dough has been dusted before during the thinning process. Moreover, we also chose to use standard-sized noodle strings to make our wanton mee easy to chew and suited for all of our customers.

The noodle strings will undergo a second round of weighing after the cutting process. The egg noodle strings will be measured in perfect proportion to the Malaysian Curry Noodles' exact unit weight (170g / 5.99oz), and the weighing machine used in this process.

We choose to dehydrate the egg noodles using the dehydrator appliance to get the moisture out of the noodles. By doing this, we can ensure that there is no liquid inside and prevent the growth of unwanted germs or bacteria within the product. It also will help to prolong the shelf life of the wanton’s mee.

The next process is packing the noodles by using the noodle packing machine. First of all, the production team will insert the noodles into the transparent plastic sachet. Each package of noodles weighs 170g or 5.99 oz. After being packed, the wonton noodles will proceed directly to the last phrase, the boxing section.

We used the automated sachet filling machine to fill the condiments into two mini transparent plastic sachets. We did the process individually for sanitation and to regulate the product's level of hygiene wonton noodles. Next, the noodles and condiments sachets will be sealed in one packet. As a result, one transparent plastic pouch will contain three separate sachets: wonton noodles, special sauce, and vegetable oil.

The dehydrated wonton noodles and all of the packed condiments will be sorted neatly into the specified box. One single package will include four complete servings of KI.TA's Malaysian Curry Wonton Noodles. To ensure the boxes are correctly folded and sealed, as well as the items' safety, we opted to use our skilled human labour specifically for this process. Our team will discard any flaws found during this production process right away.
If you take a close look at the displayed products in the supermarket, you will notice that there is product labelling prepared on the body of the product itself. It comes in various shapes and sizes, depending on how the designer team of the specific company created them. As for this product, KI.TA has included the Halal logo on the front side of the product, specifically on the bottom left corner of the box. The nutritional facts and the ingredient lists are placed on the left side of the product package.

The product's quality standards and its users' safety when consuming the wonton noodles are major concerns for KI.TA. As a result, KI.TA determined to obtain the HACCP certificate by passing through a few inspections on the biological, chemical, physical, and radiological hazards. SAUCE & OIL SACHET: We have packed the condiments into two different sachets to preserve and maintained the sanitary of the wonton noodles, as well as food safety.
The chicken flavoured won ton noodles by KI.TA are certified with Halal certification as all the ingredients used in making this product are aligned with the Syariah’s law.
