who is chef b?

Bernard Lee, the founder of KI.TA instant wanton/wonton noodles are Malaysian Chinese with a mix of Thai Nyonya blood. He is currently 53 years old and graduated from the 1st batch of HCIMC called Taylor College, one of the top high-level educational institutions in Malaysia. In the 1980s, he was pronounced the youngest renowned chef by the Star Paper during his carrier in the early 90s.

Bernard Lee started his first business venture in 1999, selling cakes and other confectionery delicacies. He expanded his business to become a sauce manufacturer. Plus, he gained various achievements, such as being the former secretary general of the Malaysian Chef Association, being named a Master Chef by World Gourmet, experience serving on the World’s Chefs’ Panel of Judges for several years, and serving on the advisory board for the World Gourmet event. He had also previously served as a personal chef to royalty for more than 10 years! He also has served as a judge in a few Food & Hotel Asia.

Focusing on his current business, he emphasised that the idea for one of his company’s best-selling products, Instant Nyonya Curry Noodle, came from his exposure to Thai and Malaysian flavours. He created curry noodles himself, giving them their distinctive taste profile.

Born into a Thai Chinese or Thai Nyonya family, Bernard Lee, the founder of Chef B Sdn Bhd, emphasised that the idea for one of his company’s best-selling products, Nyonya Curry Noodle, came from his exposure to Thai and Malaysian flavours. He created the Nyonya Curry Noodles himself, giving them their distinctive taste profile.

Chef B Sdn Bhd’s origins go back as far as 4 years, with today’s awesome clientele. We are still in this highly competitive industry of food ingredients and have updated our services for the best of our customers who have helped us all these years. In the market, our company has expanded although the market is competitive. Furthermore, we have a strong foundation of clients based which have a strong bond connection with them. In this paste of over 4 years, we have become a proven supplier of food ingredients in this market and recognized by expertise in the cooking industry. AUTOMATED MANUFACTURING IMPLEMENTATION

Since the debut of the KI.TA’s food paste manufacturing company, the growing size the organisation is expanding and getting larger and larger throughout the years. As the company grew, it decided to implement automation into its manufacturing activities due to the massive production. This automation includes:

Auto-Labelling

A production method wherein each product has a label attached to it by a stamping machinery while it is being carried to the next machine for the next process.

Auto-Packaging

The process where the products will be packed by the automations according to the standard packaging method that has been set by the company.

Auto-Mixing

Instead of using manual labour, KI.TA used automation or machinery in repetitive product mixing processes. 

Being named a Master Chef by World Gourmet

The World Gourmet platform is being introduced to recognise the diversity of the hospitality and food and beverage (F&B) industries that in appreciation to those who have made significant efforts and contributions to provide quality service, quality food and beverages and dine experience to bring the F&B and hospitality industry to greater heights in the region.
